“Seek & Share” March 28, 2013

Let’s focus on the following points:
·         We pray for each of our missionaries. We pray for their families, provision, and their mission.
Captain Leslie Nelson – Foursquare Chaplain, GA
    Essential2Life - Atlanta
    Bridges For Peace - Israel
The Agapao Foundation – Sri Lanka
Lee & Lisa Schnabel - Chile
City of Hope Children's Home – Brazil
The Balog Family, Campus Crusade for Christ – Hungary
    Fountain of Hope – Atlanta
    Dominican Republic Missions Project
Santa Cruz Hope Church – California
And you are helping us by praying for us. Then many people will give thanks because God has graciously answered so many prayers for us. 2 Corinthians 1:11

·         We pray for continued “Breakthrough Victory” in areas of personal struggle, lack, brokenness, and limitations.
Oh, sing to the Lord a new song! For He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory. Psalm 98:1

·         We pray for family members, friends, co-workers and those that haven’t accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord of their life. May they feel the love of the Lord in a tangible way and drawn to repentance. We pray this Easter many will come to know Jesus as Savior.
Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:2b

·         Pray that we will live by faith and not live by fear. That we would be strengthened with God’s love and perseverance.
We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. Romans 5:3-5

“Seek & Share”

March 7, 2013

Let’s focus on the following points:

·         We pray for family members, friends, co-workers and those that haven’t accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord of their life. May they feel the love of the Lord in a tangible way and drawn to repentance.

Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? Romans 2:4

·         We pray for each of our missionaries. We pray for their families, provision, and their mission. That each would feel the love of God in a tangible way. That we would support them in holding their “arms up” as they serve their community for the glory of God.

But Moses’ hands became heavy; so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. And Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. Exodus 17:12

·         We ask the Lord to lead us as we seek Him with all of our heart. That we would be open to His Word – the Bible, prophecy and prayer.

You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all of your heart. Jeremiah 29:13

“Seek & Share”
February 28, 2013

Let’s focus on the following points:

We would live in unity with each other: as families, as friends, as a church family.
"I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose."   1 Corinthians 1:10

Pray for strength and perseverance in our lives of faith. That we would live by faith and not live by fear. "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand." Isaiah 41:10

We agree that feelings of unworthiness or lack of confidence will be far from each of us. That each man, woman and children will be filled with confidence through the Holy Spirit to accomplish those things that He has called us to carry out.
"I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13

We pray for financial blessings over each family and Refuge West. We pray that resources would be released for ministry beyond our comprehension. We pray that we would be obedient, faithful stewards of every blessing the Lord has released.
"Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. 'If you do', says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, 'I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test'!" Malachi 3:10

Share & Seek 2-21-13

Let’s focus on the following points:
·         That we will allow God to direct our steps both individually and for Refuge West Church.
Let’s pray first!

Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do. Joshua 1:7

Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, “This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left. Isaiah 30:21

·         We pray for God to release His boldness within us personally, our families and our children, so that we will stand for righteousness in our schools, workplace and community.

"For I, the Lord your God will hold your right hand, saying to you, 'Fear not, I will help you.'" Isaiah 41:13 [NKJV]

·         Pray for our nation’s leaders & officials.
Pray for our state and local leaders & officials.
Pray for Refuge West Church’s leaders, elders & pastors.
Pray that each of these men and women will utilize God’s wisdom & covering to carry out the plans and purposes of the Lord.

"Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence." 1 Timothy 2:1-2

Let’s give God praise for all He has given us!

"Because Your loving-kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You." Psalm 63:3

Seek & Share 2-14-13

“Seek & Share”
Valentine's Day 2013
Let’s focus on the following points:

·         We pray for opportunities this week to show His love to others. May we listen and respond to voice of the Holy Spirit.
"Love is patient and kind; it is not jealous or conceited or proud; love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep a record of wrongs; love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth. Love never gives up; and its faith, hope, and patience never fail." 1 Cor. 13:4-7

·         We pray for restoration of broken families at Refuge West Church.
"And be kind one to another tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you." Ephesians 4:32

·         We thank God for His faithfulness in each life and pray for those that are discouraged. We pray that each lady would know their purpose in the Kingdom.
Every time you cross my mind, I break out in exclamations of thanks to God. Each exclamation is a trigger to prayer. I find myself praying for you with a glad heart. I am so pleased that you have continued on in this with us, believing and proclaiming God’s Message, from the day you heard it right up to the present. There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears. Philippians 1:3-6 (MSG)

·         We pray that Refuge West would be a conduit of His love.
As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. John 15:9

·         We pray that God would heal the hearts of Refuge West Church and renew our strength. That he would fill us with a thankful heart. “Let all that I am praise the Lord; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!” Ps 103:1-5

Remember!

Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and wonderful results. James 5:16
